New WRCC Ambassador Program We are excited to announce our new WRCC Ambassador Program. With the number of Chamber members constantly on the rise, the critical team of Chamber Ambassadors will volunteer to make one-on-one visits with Chamber members with the purpose of providing high-level education on Chamber resources, gauging member satisfaction, and promoting a positive member experience. Ambassadors are liaisons between the Chamber and our members. They volunteer their time to enhance the mission of the Chamber through enhanced communications with members as they assist with various Chamber activities. They also compete for the Ambassador of the Year that is awarded to the individual who volunteers the most throughout the year. We are fortunate to have Carol Mills of Always and Forever Florist head up this exciting new program at WRCC. If you are interested in serving as an ambassador, please contact the chamber staff. WRCC’s Calendar of Events We are now booking 2011 dates for our WRCC Lobby Window Display, WRCC Monthly Coffee Events and the WRCC Monthly Community Accents Radio Show on WLOE radio. These events are booked on a first come-first served basis. If you would like for your business to take advantage of these great WRCC member benefits, give the chamber staff a call today at (336) 548-6248. WRCC’s Cruise-In Look for some great changes in store for 2011 as the 1st Friday Cruise becomes… WRCC’s 2nd Saturday CRUISEFEST! Starting in May and running through September, we’ll have more cars, more vendors and more fun! Mark your calendars now and get ready for a great 2011! Upcoming Events — Coffee Reminder: Be sure to join us for our next WRCC Coffee event on Thursday, November 18th sponsored and hosted by CJ & K Café & Ice Cream Shop. The event runs from 8 until 9 AM and is open to WRCC members and non-members. I encourage you each to invite two guests to all of our WRCC events. A fellow chamber member who doesn’t regularly attend and a non-member who you would like to see join our local chamber of commerce! Let us know how we can help your business grow! Warmest regards, Gary Corns, Executive Director Western Rockingham Chamber of Commerce - WRCC
