As an established agent, Karen is recognised as one of the most esteemed real estate marketers, specialising in prestige waterfront and beachside properties. In 2013, Karen was awarded Next Property Group’s top sales performer and recognised within the group for her strategic and incredibly effective marketing techniques. We caught up with the talented sales consultant to discover a little more about what gets her up each morning and how she has managed to obtain her long-term success in such a competitive industry.
What is your personal philosophy when it comes to sales and marketing? Karen: I think outside the box, as cliché as it sounds – every home is different and each marketing campaign needs to be tailored to the right target market and the home needs to be presented in the best possible light. This is always my focus. What is the thing you love most about your job? Karen: I don’t think I could go past the fact that no two days are ever the same. I get to meet so many different people from all walks of life and I love the process of helping people achieve their real estate goals. Tell us, for people thinking of selling their home, what is your main advice? Karen: Selling your property is 80% planning and 20% doing, I work closely with all my sellers to ensure that we have a comprehensive and customised strategy and plan prior to presenting the property to the marketplace. Where do you see the market heading for 2014? Karen: I am just excited to be working in a career that I love and I look forward to assisting more people across the Coast to achieve their goals and to make their next move, their best move.
