Stephanie is a beautiful, spunky, fun-loving woman, but her hair did not reflect her vibrant personality. It was parted down the middle, very thick, much darker in the back, and looked dull and dated. I immediately envisioned what I wanted to do to add life to Stephanie’s hair color to complement her complexion, and to give her a dramatic new look. I added more highlights to make her hair very blonde, blending them all over so that her hair didn’t have such a stark, light and dark, two-tone appearance. I didn’t change the length that much, but I cut a lot of hair in the back to reduce the thickness and texturized the hair around Stephanie’s face. The boldest change I made was giving Stephanie long, straight bangs, which look fabulous on her! They completely altered her look, and she couldn’t stop smiling with a newfound confidence. To change things up a bit, I used a curling iron to separate the layers to create another sexy, sophisticated style. Stephanie is a beautiful and sophisticated woman. Due to her important position in the work place, I wanted to keep her make-up looking as natural as possible. First, I evened out her skin tone and added a slight touch of neutral blush, giving her a hint of color. For her eyes, I used a cream shadow all over with charcoal in the crease, black liquid liner, and added lashes to make her eyes stand out.
