Summer 2018

2018 SUMMER READING LIBRARY PROGRAM Polk County Library Cooperative ROCKS this summer! After the last day of school, visit your local library and register for the summer reading program.  Once you are signed up for the summer reading program, you will receive a reading log to track the titles of books you read over the summer.  Set a reading goal of the number of books or hours you plan to read.  Everyone who completes the reading program by finishing their reading goal will be celebrated with certificates and rewards. With 18 public libraries to enjoy in Polk County, there are a variety of programs, giveaways, and contests offered all summer long!  Be sure to mark your calendars for special events (found in this program) and visit your local library as often as possible to stay in the loop!  We even have a fun and adventurous library scavenger hunt that can win you really cool prizes see page 5 for details. Many libraries will be participating in the Reading with the Rays incentive program.  Inquire with your library for details.
