Join us for monthly Birthday lunch, social activities, lectures, aquatic offerings and, of course, wellness activities: cardio, strength and flexibility. Our Drop-In Senior Center is open on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00am to 2:30pm in the lower level Gagnon Teen/Community Center at Mt Airy. Senior Drop-In is offered FREE to all YMCA senior members. Potential members can pay a drop-in fee per month from the 1st to the end of the month, valid on Tuesday and Thursday only. • Support Discussions- join us to discuss your concerns, a specific book, or your interests. • Knit and Crochet- bring a project or come to learn. • Alzheimer’s Quilt- spend an hour contributing to a textural quilt for Alzheimer’s patients. • Stampin Up- create artistic cards with precut supplies. • Health Discussions- learn the latest information from the National Institute of Health, the Office On Aging, Doctors and Nurses and our own personal trainers. • Kinesis- addresses strength, cardio, and flexibility in one session. • Watercolor/Digital Photography- indulge your creative side. • Your Class Here- bring a book discussion or a passion to our senior group. • Zumba Gold - Fun, intro class to get you up and moving.

A series of gentle activities in the pool open to anyone with arthritis, rheumatic diseases, or recovering from injury. It is not necessary to know how to swim. Pre-registration is necessary.
