The Somerset Hills YMCA has opportunities available for host families for two international YMCA staff members for the summer camp season. This initiative is an important part of the YMCA’s partnership with the YMCA of Skopje, Macedonia. Host families will provide housing and all other family functions. All counselors are outstanding leaders at our partner YMCA, chosen through a highly selective process. All counselors are over the age of 18. We seek 5 and 10-week housing commitments. TRX Suspension Training®

Traditional weight training often only works one muscle at a time which is contradictory to the normal coordinated muscle effort used to complete most activities. Focusing on only one muscle at a time is more likely to lead to overuse injuries and muscular imbalances, as well as potentially limit strength and movement gains. Suspension Training® allows for the use of multiple planes of motion and works multiple muscles and joints simultaneously. Individual or partner sessions are available by appointment only. Personal training fee applies. Contact Jen Brumbaugh at jbrumbaugh@somersethillsymca.org.

LIVESTRONG™ at the YMCA is a twelve week small group program designed for adult cancer survivors who have become de-conditioned or chronically fatigued from their treatment and/or disease.
