Bio Joe “Mack,” McElroy, born May 6, 1976, grew up in the tiny river-valley town of Dardanelle, Arkansas. As a child, hip hop music and culture seemed to flow through his veins. Though it was not widely accepted in a “mostly white,” rural setting, Joe found a deep love for it. Whether it was breakdancing in the school yard at recess, or reciting every rhyme from every cassette tape he could get his hands on, Joe loved hip hop. As he grew up, failing at college, and returning to his parents home, which had migrated to Southeast Texas, Joe’s life changed, but his love for the art and culture of hip hop never died. Joe Mack and hip hop were meant to be together. Though Joe loved rap music, he found himself with a young family, and needed to make a steady living. After going through a “Citizen’s Police Academy,” class, Joe decided that he would pursue a career in Law Enforcement. Joe completed the actual Police Academy just weeks after his 21st Birthday, and was soon out on patrol in Southeast Texas. Joe moved up the ranks quickly, and before he knew it, Joe McElroy was a Narcotic’s Detective. That’s where the trouble began. Though he had the right motivations, Joe made some terrible decisions. Working in an undercover capacity, Joe began to use drugs to gain the trust of drug dealers who he would later bust. After just a short run, Joe found himself hopelessly addicted to drugs… Hard drugs. Joe began doing deals “under the table,” and began stealing from the Police Department Evidence Locker. After about a year of stealing, abusing everything from crack cocaine to methampetamines, Joe was busted, and under investigated by the legendary Texas Rangers. 2 ½ years, and 9 felonies later, Joe McElroy was sentenced to a prison-term in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Though doing time is hard, especially on an ex-cop, Joe McElroy was about to encounter Jesus Christ. After taking quite a beating, Joe woke up in Solitary Confinement, and realizing that he was not just in a bad dream, Joe called out to the only person he thought might be listening. Joe called out the name that he had learned as a child, Joe called on Jesus. Joe asked Jesus Christ to forgive him for all that he had done, and everyone he had hurt, and Jesus answered his prayer. After a string of God-Ordained circumstances, Joe found himself sitting in a “Faith-Based Dorm,” at the Hutchins State Jail unit of TDCJ. He spent the next 11 months studying the Word of God for 8-12hours per day. Once released from Prison, Jesus taught Joe how to begin to live free from the addiction that had tried to kill him, and destroy his life. Though it wasn’t an overnight success, today, 7 years later, Joe McElroy is free! Joe married his wife Cristina in 2014, and shortly after that, God reminded Joe of his love for hip hop, and let him know that it was time to put that love to work for Him. Since then, Joe has released three albums, ministers and performs regularly, and is currently stepping into the role of Youth Pastor at the Freedom House Church in Freeport, Texas. God only knows what’s next for Joe Mack, but Joe Mack knows that God is, and always will be faithful!

ABOUT VERACEOUZ Veraceouz is a 33 years old father, poet, singer, song writer, pianist, A&R/Business Development Specialist, and a producer from Santee, SC. Ever since he was 13 years old Veraceouz has been expressing his feelings through his art and it has been his passion ever since. Veraceouz art comes from deep within the soul of his heart of how he feels. His art speaks on everyday life from relationships, love, and God. Veraceouz got my music roots from his grandfather where he had played bass and lead guitar and had his own gospel group back in the day call the Blossomnettes. No one has no videos or audio of the group singing or him playing or singing. The only memories Veraceouz have of him is pictures but every picture Veraceouz see him in he's holding his guitar in his arms which shows his passion for music. It hurts because Veraceouz wasn't a year old and he die. His Story First and foremost, I like to take the time to thank God for allowing me the opportunity to share my testimony with those that will listen. A few years ago, my life started spiralling out of control. I had been dealt a series of blows and tragedies that I didn't know if I could recover from. Not only did I not know if I could recover, I didn't know if I wanted to. In 2011, my dad passed away unexpectedly. I was completely shattered and broken. My dad was my rock. He was my everything. He supported me in everything that I did and always had a word of encouragement when I needed it. He had my back. That now was gone. Then 8 months later, my grandmother passed. Then almost a year ago, my only sister who was only 36 years old passed away suddenly. And if that wasn't enough, my mother passed away on my wife and I anniversary, which was in February. I tried to be strong. I even
