Connection at myGEKKO The room temperature sensor THERMASGARD 4277 is connected to the RS485 interfaces of the RIO-29 modules. You can attach a maximum of 128 controllers on the same interface.

Bus adress Set the desired address. The bus address in the range of 0 to 127 (binary format) can be adjusted with the left DIP switch (pos. 1 to 7). All remaining DIP switches (pos. 8 as well as pos. 1 to 8 from the right DIP switch) are set to OFF. If multiple temperature sensors are used addresses may not be assigned twice.

2. Software activation at myGEKKO Log in as configurator. 1. Change to system menu -> Heating / Cooling -> Select the corresponding room and go to the IO configuration. 2. Under ‘room controller’ select the room temperature sensor ‘Thermasgard 4277’ 3. Tap ‘Sensors’ to specify the interface and address. 4. Under ‘Control panel’ save the interface (RIO-29 module) to which the room controller is connected. 5. Save the bus address of the controller under ‘Address’. 6. Done! After entering the interface and address the temperature will be displayed under temperature. Thus, the controller is working properly.
