Interim Management of Quality and Safety
Following a verdict of local authorities forcing the start of an active remediation, MWH started a groundwater management program to investigate the leverage of the verdict, and provide the back-up and monitoring results to base upon a realistic remediation or management system for the site. Activities included in field core sampling, 3D contamination modelling and groundwater management design.
MWH created and managed a custom made quality and safety management system for the largest harbour in Europe. The system optimizes the business processes, and maximizes safety and quality of handling traffic and to prevent accidents, both within the harbour as well as to protect the surrounding environment.

For many years MWH has been supplying a worldwide operating pharmaceutical company with consultancy and audit capacity on ISO 14000 related topics. Acivities for this multinational include screening the companyâ€™s sites, as well as the workfloor and audits of higher management.
For one of the largest steel production sites worldwide, MWH supplies the training and consultancy on various EHS related topics. Subjects include everything ranging from gas detection measurements to occupational health and industrial hygiene.
Environmental Compliance and Permitting
A major international oil storage company appointed MWH as environmental consultant on several engineering and maintenance projects for a site with approx. 1.6 milion cbm of storage capacity for petroleum products. Activities include soil investigation inside storage tanks, in-situ remediation design and groundwater extraction engineering and site soil m anagement, including a side wide renewal of fire extinguishing pipelines.
In order to guarantee the license to operate of a large brewery and spirits production site MWH has provided the needed environmental compliance knowledge and permitting capacity. From baseline studies and gapanalysis to site risk assessments and communications with the authorities.
