SPINNAKER TOWER Spinnaker Tower is very tall. It’s 170 m high. There’s a shop inside the tower. There’s also a lift. The first floor was made of glass and we could see the street when we stepped on it at 100m. From the third floor, we could see the whole city. The tower´s very big. It´s a meeting point for a lot of people. Near the tower we could find a lot of restaurants like Burger King and Pizza Hut. We felt very dizzy in the Spinnaker Tower.

They were a lot of Pizza Huts, Subways, McDonalds and Kebab shops with fast food. To drink coffe there were some Starbucks and to buy food and drinks there were many Tescos. Near our hotel there were lots of pubs. Pizza Hut The best way is to eat by buffet, where you pay 6.50 pounds and then choose what ever you want. Starbucks Coffe If you want hot drinks you can ask for a coffee with milk or hot chocolate and if you want cold drinks you can ask for a frapuccino or tropical juice. You can eat sweets, like muffins or cookies too! If you don’t want to spend a lot of money, you can take some food from Spain in your luggage so that you can avoid paying extra money on your meals. Mmm... and speaking of having fun...Well England is very different from Spain: WHY? We can tell you... If you want alcoholic drinks, it’s very complicated to buy them in a disco because you have to be 21, so you need to ask people to buy them for you. One day, we were walking in the street and suddenly we saw a disco with a gay flag and Gonzalo said that it was the flag of the Republic but it was false. By Clara, Claudia, and Angela

If you want to meet new people, it’s a great idea to visit this amazing school with excellent resources to use in class. The students have got lots of class options like dance class, drama, Spanish, English, French... When you arrive there you want to study there because they have a swimming pool, a large sport center, a student area where you can find a big plasma TV and a restaurant. Don’t forget about meeting the director of the school because he is a sociable man. If you are lucky, he will invite you to an important event like us, when we went to a football match which was incredible! It´s very easy to get there, you only have to take a bus! Lucía, Laura, Tamara and Estela.

Day Trip to Winchester To go to Winchester from Portsmouth, you can get the train station not so far from the Ibis. When you arrive to Southampton, get another train to Winchester. There you can visit the Cathedral, statues, the Great Wall, the Brooks shopping center, and a lot of coffee shops in the stret, like Starbuck’s. Winchester is a bit far from Portsmouth. It’s the capital of Hampsire council. It hasn’t got a beach, but there are lot of things to do and visit there.
