“It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is the most adaptable to change.” - Charles Darwin Our times are changing faster than ever. Just two years ago, everything was done different and we lived very differently. The Power of Adaptability is probably that most powerful kind known to us. Adaptability is what keeping us alive and has kept us alive over past millions of years we have been alive. Same goes with animals. Mother Nature is ruthless and has punished many species by making them extinct. Those animals that didn’t make it to the 21st Century failed to adapt and were wiped away. Same can be said with humans. We have seen many people who stuck with old style of doing things and held on to old ideals. Those people refused to learn as our changing required us to do and then suffered later. Not only our Natural Environment, Social life, and health care has changed but our old ways of doing business and Commerce had also changed drastically mostly for the good. Every year millions of new people are joining Internet and taking advantage of it. As of now we have more than 3 Billion users of Internet. And this number is only growing every year. “Adaptability is not imitation. It means power of resistence and assimilation.” - Mahatma Gandhi People now trust Internet more than ever. goods ship to their houses with blazing fast delivery. This saves them both time and money. They don’t have to drive or commute to the shopping mall to buy clothes or other goods. People such as Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg saw Internet as an Opportunity and decided to adapt to it rather than move away from it like most people did back in the 1990s. You probably hear frequently about Internet millionaires and billionaires. There is no magic or gimmick behind their success. They were just more adaptable than most of the other people. These millionaires and billionaires saw the Power of Internet and truly believed that Internet will be the main focus of the future. And now everybody knows Internet has produced more millionaires and billionaires than any other organization ever has. “”All fixed set patterns are incapable of adaptability or pliability. The truth is the outside of all fixed patterns. - Bruce Lee While the rest of the people are still banging their heads on a desk in a traditional 9 to 5 job. These people failed to observe their environment and see how the times are changing. In a interview, Warren Buffet said he wouldn’t have made any money in 1985 based on what they knew in 1975, and he wouldn’t have made any money in 2005 based on what he knew back in 1995. They said this to show that you must keep adapting and learning to be able to survive and thrive. Warren Buffet reads 10 hours a day and about 400 pages a day just so he can keep up with the changing times. The reason why most people end up living a mediocre life is they stopped learning after traditional schooling or college. Our whole life is a learning process and we must keep learning in order to stay on top of the game. Time wait for nobody and will leave anyone behind who refuses to keep up with it. The moment you stop learning, you put yourself behind every body and lag behind our rapidly changing times. When you are adaptable, you will always have a advantage over other people. Most of the other people refuse to change as our times are changing. They hold on to their old ideas and ways of doing things that only worked in the past but holds zero relevancy in the future. “People will try to tell that all the great opportunities have been snapped up. In reality, the world changes every second, blowing new opportunities in all directions, including yours.” - Ken Hakuta Being adaptable means you can cope with any obstacle or hardship in life which are sure to come. Nothing will be able to stop you and you will gain tremendous power because people will see you as unstoppable and ruthless. Being adaptable means you will be able to beat people in competition who are stronger than you and/or smarter than you. People will tend to not challenge head to head because they know you can adapt and change your tactics according to the circumstances. You will get tremendous amount of power if you stick to the idea of Adaptability and, and practice it for a significant amount of time. Avoid and ignore the Power of Adaptability at your own risk. Remember our time is changing faster than ever. We must change as well to be able to survive and live a good life. “Adaptability is the Key.” - Mark Andreessen Good Luck and Stay Strong!
