brand colours Where possible, the logo should be used on top of a brand colour. The grey background is the preferred option, however, if a bright background is required, the mustard is also accepted. The logo should never be used over any other coloured background. The remaining colours can be used for text banners, buttons, or to highlight certain elements.

logo usage

The left aligned logo should preferably sit at the bottom left of a page or object. The margin around the text should aim to be kept the same between the left hand side and the bottom of the logo to the page..

Where the centred logo is chosen, the logo can be positioned anywhere on the page. Enough space should be kept around the logo to ensure it can breathe. Alignment needs to be taken from the text rather than the graphic elements of the logo..

logo usage (cont.) The white logo with mustard antlers should be used over imagery. If the background is a shade of yellow, then a full white logo should be used instead. Where the image is quite busy, like the image on the bottom left, a grey overlay will help the logo to stand out. The antlers can be used where there is no room for a full logo.. The antlers must be white and centralised on the page.

typography.

In print, titles should be written in Alte Haas Grotesk. For web, this can be replaced with Work Sans (bold). Body font should be written in Work Sans (thin or regular). Where words need to be highlighted, it is acceptable to use Work Sans (medium).

Text should be aligned to the left where possible. Or, if the imagery requires, align to the right. There should be clear definition between title text and body text in both boldness and size. The antlers can be used at the bottom of graphics where a logo would look too much.

text placement On the opposite page is some examples demonstrating how text should be placed on a page or object. Text needs to be clear and legible whether that means adding an overlay across images, or positioning photographs so there is blank space available for copy.
