Eileen Rowe has seven acoustic pianos.
Eileen Rowe has been teaching the piano for 50 years. Her skills at encouraging pupils to the highest standards are acclaimed throughout the profession. Every week Eileen and her team of teachers cater for 200 children . An incredibly busy timetable. Which is when her Roland Digital Piano comes in. For pupils to loosen up on whilst waiting for their lessons. And there's no compromising their classical training. Roland pianos - in Eileen's case the HP-5600 - provide stunningly realistic sounds, with a key action as touch responsive as the best concert grand. Built-in stereo sound systems include a headphone
socket for silent practice and being digital, a Roland piano never goes out of tune! Eileen's pupils are also learning while they limber up. Courtesy of Roland's PR-100 sequencer. The PR-100, like a recorder, using computer disks instead of tape, is supported by an extensive library of pre-recorded software including Associated Board grade pieces. Linked via MIDI to any Roland piano, its performance facilities allow, for example, users to mute left or right hand parts and - especially helpful for practising difficult pieces - to slow down the tempo without any change in pitch.
Roland call it their Intelligent System of Music. Eileen Rowe simply calls it marvellous.
