Become a Friend The Museum of Cambridge is an independent Museum founded in 1936, making it one of the oldest social history museums in the UK. We occupy a former 17th century timber framed coaching inn in which we house a unique collection of over 20,000 items of local historical interest - from household objects, paintings and toys to Fenland folklore cures and customs. We use our building and our collection to preserve and bring to life the stories of Cambridge people and places for the benefit of current and future generations. A great museum needs exceptional supporters. As a Friend of the Museum of Cambridge you can play a vital role in keeping the Museum and its collection alive. Your subscription will, among other things, help to fund the preservation of our collection and archives, the development of innovative and exciting projects and events, and the delivery of special exhibitions and displays. As well as knowing that membership makes an enormous difference to the Museum, you will also enjoy a number of other benefits: l Free entry to the Museum and all its exhibitions l Invitations to private viewings of our latest exhibitions l Priority booking and concessionary rates for talks and events Subscription Single: £15 a year Double/Family: £20 a year (two adults and up to three children at the same address) Single Concessionary: £10 a year (students/senior citizens/job seekers) Double Concessionary: £15 a year (two students/senior citizens/job seekers at the same address)
