THE ECO-FR 1


RIENDLY INNOVATION CENTER VALENCIA,SPAIN

The story of this project began with the group site research and individual urban proposals for the community. After this early period, we provided an individual project and unique site locations based on those individual understanding of the community and context. As one part of my design, I proposed the Eco-Innovation Center, Valencia, Spain which is a locally selected and shared working space chain. Its Parent company called -NEVE. It is a locally selected project based on the weakness or strength of the community.Specifically, the Eco-friendly innovation center is the eco-friendly technique support oriented project in production design. The building is permanent, but the programs inside are slightly changing with time. The original purpose of this program is achieving a platform for college genius to apply their knowledge closer to the reality environmental challenge. Providing a shot cut for new enterprises to find a faster solution during their research period. Creating a new pattern of shared working experience for the new generation. Last but not least, supporting the local community to exchange their unique values and stories with other communities in the world.

CONCEPT MODELS: The Way the light affects the interior spatial experiences and circulation.

The Cooper Hewitt has decided to open a satellite museum on the Lower East Site to showcase modern American design. This project aims to focus on both exhibition and education with this particular on-site collection at its heart. I began this project with two questions: Why would people today still want to go to the museum rather than watching those pieces of arts on the Internet with the crazy details...Then I realized sometimes, people go to the museum not only because what those arts look like, also what their body feels like inside the museum... So how can I achieve an interesting and enlightened museum with the beginning of site analyses? My answer is: What if I applied the way people approach and appreciate a piece of art from different angles and distances. Apply this inspiration into architectural elements: The Spatial Experiences, The Flexibility, and the Engagement Relationship.

The Prosthetic Training & Research Center (15,600 SF)

places the future potential of prosthetics research center stage in the heart of a vibrant and growing city (Kansas City), providing dedicated research, fabrication, and training spaces for prosthetic users and industry/ healthcare researchers. The concept of this design is the inner beauty. I believe the interior walking experience is more unforgettable and attractive than the exterior materiality. This idea also reflects my philosophy to target users: The difference between people is not the extreme physical differences, rather than something deep inside.

The Great House Project involved developing a

gatehouse and a visitor center for Richard Miller’s Rachofsky House. The current site plan has an existing wall in front of the house. The story of this project began with the controversy of this wall. Should I Keep it? Or tear them down? I decided to keep the wall as my concept which allows people to walk through this project can experience the new facade and the old facade with history. It’s my way to respect Richard Miller’s works and also respond to the spirit of a museum - the conversation between the History and the Future.

T he purpose of this project is to import more "fresh blood"(more functions - Brewery Museum, Unique experiences) for the community which lacks labor to developed in the Cottonwood Fall. The project is conceived as the timeline (light navigation in architecture) connected three main zoning spaces (Future, History, and Present). Each area is characterized by its materials. Unique experiences for visiting is giving a chance for people around this city, especially Manhattan and Kansas City people willing to drive couple hours to visit this city.

The inspiration for this NEST design came from the feeling of a nest in the winter time. The absence of leaves on the trees could make the nest standing out of branches. Architecturally, I began my design to create a critical space stands out among multiple areas. To solve the real issue the inconvenient circulation between the Land Park and the Ocean Park and the Ocean Park (Like Hong Kong Disney Park) is the original intention of this project. The research of the nest sparks the central circulation. The nest takes a lot of efforts from both the male & the female. They have very active cooperation - to set up their nest, they have to fly more than 10,0000 times. Even they have entirely different directions; their memories connect them to the same destination - their house- Nest. Idea Sketch (Idea Sketch (Bird sets up their nest on the top of a tree is to see the dangers easily - Higher, Better view. In an architectural way, the critical space relates to the function of activity like sightseeing stand and lifeguard room. And the area connected the East and West escalators also have access to the “Nest�, providing more choices for visitors.)

The city of Manhattan, KS also called "A Little Apple." The inspiration for this design comes from the idea of the section of a Little Apple. I believe a bus stop is not only a transportation spot but also a cultural symbol for people to remember the city's stories. For this project, its curved space with several pieces of translucent painted glass to achieve a good space for resting. And the design of seating area is engaged with the whole project. And the sense of flowing seating space has potentially divided the bus stop into two type of people: Adult and Kids because of their different height.

F or this library design, my inspiration for this project was sparked by the source of life in the RPG games. It has the same feature as the library. In the game, the characters gain health points when they get close to sources of life. In reality, people acquire knowledge when they stay in the library. So my concept is "flow." What I am trying to do is to create multiple unique spaces has the sense of flowing by using several light control panels and arrangement of forms.

The bookshelf engaged with the wall. Turning around the kitchen, the panoramic living space and balcony bring your perspective into the skin of lake. For this house design, I brought the consideration of lake in front of the site. It sparked my mind to achieve an intimate relationship between the humanity and nature.

life. I love the way they discussed the project at the professional level. I miss them, especially Kevin and Yuxuan. Marmol Radziner is a simplismstyle architectural firm located at 12210 Nebraska Avenue, LA, CA. The feeling of Marmol Radziner’s projects is serene and peaceful as a result of the firm believes it is possible for architecture to bring people closer to nature, as well as they responsibly design simple buildings more elegantly and complex buildings with more care. I worked on several projects through multiple phases of design including Revit Construction Documents, Design Development, Modeling, and Rendering. I gained valuable experience with simplism urban housing design and Revit skills.
