Drava forest park
There is wooded area on the north side of Varaždin near the Drava River, covering 87 ha and is protected as a park-forest. The area is extremely attractive because of its biological diversity (185 plants and 109 animal species are documented). You can swimm in the swimming pools in Varaždin.
Entomological museum
»Wonderland world of insects« is one of the most beautiful exhibitions in Europe. You will find the museum in the Herzer Palace.
Palaces and old city halls can
be found in the old town centre. Most of them were built in the 16th century.

Firefighter’s museum is the only museum in Croatia, which shows the history of Croatian firefighting. At the collecting of exhibits a number of surrounding clubs participated the and the people from Varaždin. Important sacral buildings are the Church of the blessed
virgin Mary - Varaždin Cathedral, church of St Nicholas, franciscan church of St John the Baptist, Ursuline church of the nativity and church of St Florian.
