PRESIDENT OF HOCKEY IRELAND Presidents Message: U16 & U18 Boys Hockey Inter-Pro’s. It is my great pleasure, on behalf of Hockey Ireland, to welcome you all to Garryduff for this year’s U16/U18 Boys Interprovincials 2018. This is a great occasion for all the players who have been selected to play for their province. It is also a proud moment for the parents of these boys and I’m sure they will do you proud on the field during the tournament this weekend. A big thank you also to TD, John Dennis and his team of umpires and technical officials, and also to all the volunteers who give their time to Hockey week in and week out. Without these people it would not be possible to run these events. Thank you to the Munster Branch and the committee’s who put so much effort into staging this event. Along with the players I would like to recognise the great work done by the Coaches & Managers of the 3 Provinces who put so much effort into preparing their teams and give so much to their sport. I hope you all have a very enjoyable weekend.
