Maggie Araujo – Former Pilates Precision student With 10 years of experience teaching Pilates the Pilates Precision helped renew Maggie’s enthusiasm for her passion as she embarked on gaining her Level 3 recognised diploma. Q. Why did you decide to do the Pilates Diploma? I trained 10 years ago with the Pilates Precision and needed to update my qualifications. The diploma will now enable me to be registered on the Register of Exercise Professionals at Level 3 Pilates. The original Level 2 qualification is not eligible to be included on the register and employers are reassured with a REPs Level 3. Q. What was the most valuable thing you took away from the course? It has given me confidence that my qualification is as up to date as possible and on a par with other training providers offering the same certification. Q. What do you love about being a Pilates Instructor? I love the one to one aspect of teaching Pilates. Even in a group setting you have to get to know everyone individually and their injuries! Q. What has been the highlight of your Pilates career so far? Gaining my Level 3 Anatomy and Physiology qualification, it was a lot of study in a very short time.
