LEARN MORE. EARN MORE. Who is M State? M State is the fifth-largest college in the Minnesota State system and the largest in Greater Minnesota, serving more than 8,000 students each year. But don’t be fooled by our size. At M State you’ll find the best of both worlds: big-college resources and a small-college feel on our four welcoming campuses and in our many online courses and programs. We’re a two-year college with more than 70 career and technical programs and a university transfer degree that will prepare you for transfer to a fouryear university. If you’re a high school junior or senior, you may qualify to earn college credit through the Post-Secondary Enrollment Options program. When you take college courses either on a college campus or online, tuition and the cost of textbooks are paid by the school district. PSEO makes it possible for high school students to earn a high school diploma and associate degree concurrently. There are minimum academic requirements, so talk to your high school guidance counselor and college admissions staff. For more information, visit minnesota.edu/pseo.

M State’s up2U program rewards students who plan to earn an M State degree and transfer to complete a four-year degree. Through up2U, you can earn a scholarship award of between $500 and $5,000 at one of M State’s university transfer partners for your junior and senior years. You need to be enrolled at M State as a new student and meet specific criteria. For more information, call 877.450.3322 or visit minnesota.edu/up2u.
M State’s Power of YOU provides two years of tuition-free college and additional support to up to 100 graduates of area high schools. If you graduate from a qualifying high school, you could earn an associate degree and transfer to a four-year college or university or enter the workforce with zero student debt. Students on the Moorhead campus may qualify for the tuition savings program TuitionMatchMN. If you’re eligible, you can set aside up to $960 in a special savings account. The money is matched 3:1, so you could receive up to $3,840 toward your college costs, along with online financial literacy training and career counseling. Business partners in some highdemand career fields have created sponsorships that support students in specific M State degree and diploma programs and open the door to long-term career opportunities. The Alliss Two-Year Opportunity Grant assists students with financial need who are enrolled in AA, AS, AAS, AFA, diploma, certificate and Minnesota Transfer Curriculum courses designed to transfer to baccalaureate programs. You’re automatically considered for an Alliss Grant when you enroll at M State, and qualified students will be asked to complete an application.
