Ypsilanti New Tech @ Ardis has a website for students. When students come in every morning they will have to log into the website “echo”. At “echo” thats where you can find the students agenda, courses, and grades. The facilitators will not be in front of the class explaining the assignments! At Ypsilanti New Tech you will only have 3 hrs, during the day. Ypsilanti New Tech @ Ardis is located 2100 Ellsworth Rd, Ypsilanti, Michigan 48197. (West of Michigan Ave.) Breakfast 6:00a.m.-7:10 a.m. 1st hour 7:10a.m. -8:43a.m. 2nd Hour 8:45a.m.-10:18a.m. Advisory 10:20a.m.-11:00a.m. Lunch 11:00a.m.-11:30a.m. 3rd Hour 11:32a.m.-1:05p.m. The students will then go to Ypsilanti High School(YHS) for there Elective, and will be dismiss from there. (Walk, Bus, or Pick Up)
Ypsilanti New Tech @ Ardis is a High School for 21st Century Skills. New Tech @ Ardis is a Project Based Learning(PBL) , preparing students for the real world.
The Three Essential Principles Trust: Being able to trust each other such as, not worrying about anything being stolen. Respect: At New Tech everybody must Respect anybody and everybody. Responsibility: Being able to keep up with your projects, coming to class on time, and keeping up with your laptop. The Three 21st Century Skills Technology Use: Being able to use the internet for research. Work Ethnic: At New Tech the ability is being able to work hard. Collaboration: Team work, working together like you will do in the real world.
