MUD AT ITS MOST MAJESTIC The “Theory of doing” started expanding in various ways such as experimenting with material explorations; one of the experiments took place at a very early stage of academic years. This was the study of vernacular architecture of the Great Mosque of Djenné, which is an adobe building from 13th century that is considered to be one of the greatest achievements of the Sudano-Sahelian architectural style.
