Islam was founded over 1,400 years ago in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. Initially its founder was Muhammad. They believed that the angel Gabriel and came to Muhammad and gave him revelations for the rest of his life which were later written down and became the Qur’an. Secondly, they worship in the Mosque. There’s a spot near the entrance for them to put their shoes. Then there is a large room with no furniture for them to pray in. Then there’s a niche in the wall to show where Mecca is and also there is a gathering place for the community. Even so, they believe God all powerful, all knows and just. view of their God. The followers of Islam are also known as Muslims. An interesting fact is they pray to the East. They pray to the East because that is the direction Mecca is in. The individuals are supposed to spread the religion around the world. This is
just one of the many things a follower in the Islamic religion must do. In the same way, the relationship between God and the followers is like the relationship between the created and the creator. Even though God is not present in the world, it still reflects the nature and guidance of God. In addition to those, Mecca is the holiest meeting site in the Islamic religion.
