Perth tops the nation with strong sales growth Luxury apartment offers sweeping views to Melville Water

PERTH recorded the highest growth in residential sales of all Australian capital cities in the 12 months to June 30. Figures released by property expert RPdata show house sales jumped by almost 60 per cent in Perth, compared with an average 32 per cent across Australia. RPdata research director Tim Lawless said the number of existing homes sold in Australia in the June quarter rose from 98,500 in 2008 to 130,000 in the

dropped from 76 in March to 70 in June,” Mr Druitt said. “Units and apartments also saw strong growth in the quarter, lifting by almost 9 per cent from a median of $349,000 to $380,000.” Sydney recorded the second highest improvement in home sale volumes over the past year, up by 38 per cent.
