DOAC Announces 2026 Methods & Materials Mania Event

esign Ohio - Akron-Canton (DOAC) recently announced details about its annual Methods & Materials Mania event, which will take place at Quaker Station in Akron on February 25, 2026. The event brings together professionals from Northeast Ohio’s construction and design industries for a day of hands-on learning and networking. The program is designed to help emerging professionals understand how materials and sysMethods & Materials Mania 2025 tems work in real-world applications. Attendees rotate through multiple demonstration areas where exhibitors work together to show correct use, performance and installation. In addition to the hands-on experiences, the event will feature educational sessions aimed at addressing key industry challenges. Methods & Materials Mania is open to architects, engineers, contractors, material suppliers and other industry professionals. Hahn Loeser & Parks Adds Two Associates Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP has expanded its Cleveland litigation team with the addition of Katherine E. Clawson and Sera M. Martin, both recently admitted to the Ohio Bar and former summer associates at the firm. Clawson will support the firm’s work on construction-

related matters, complex commercial disputes, product liability actions, contract disputes, compliance matters, employment disputes, breach of fiduciary duty actions and fraud claims. Prior to Hahn Loeser, she externed for a federal judge in Youngstown and with Case Western’s Office of General Counsel. She was also a certified legal intern in the Sixth Circuit and Ohio

Supreme Court, representing clients in the appellate litigation clinic. She is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where she was a Legal Writing Honors Fellow and a senior editor for the Journal of Law, Technology & the Internet.
