Summer Adventure Camp

“The staff was motivated and passionate about the camp. Both of my children looked forward to attending and did not want to go on vacation and miss camp!” Summer Adventure Camp is a 10 week enrichment day camp offered to students 6-14 years old. Campers participate in weekly field trips, theme days, group activities, and swimming at the Mechanicsburg Area Outdoor Pool. All at no additional charge! Early registration begins February 27!

2nd Annual Tri4Kids

Come “Ride, glide, dip and dive” your way through this fun, exciting event to be held this summer! Our 2nd Annual Tri4Kids is open to all students ages 5-18 who have an interest in competing in a triathlon (swim, bike, run)! Our event is a friendly competition and meant to introduce children to the sport by getting them physically active at an early age. Race distances will vary based on age. T-shirt not guaranteed if registered after July 11th. Summer Playground Program

The Summer Playground Program is offered to children residing in Mechanicsburg, Shiremanstown Boroughs and Upper Allen Township. This program is free to students residing in Mechanicsburg Area School District ages 6 to 12 from June 11th-August 9th. Organized games, activities and field trips provided at a minimal fee. No program on June 14th and July 4th. Information will be available by March 26th on our website.

Behind-the-Wheel Driver Education

This course is available to students holding a valid learner's permit or license and completing the classroom phase (or currently enrolled in good standing). The driving program does not assure students of receiving a valid driver's license when the course is completed. The instruction is scheduled during a student's study hall periods, after school or during the summer. Must reside in the Mechanicsburg Area School District. A $150 deposit is needed upon registration and then an additional $150 is required the first day behind the wheel. Total Cost: $300
