Esta experiencia, basada en hechos reales, acompaña a tres amigos de barrio un sábado fuera de lo común, donde su universo de fútbol, ninjas, videojuegos y rock n’ roll choca de frente con el mundo adulto, cambiando su percepción de la realidad para siempre. Un nostálgico cóctel molotov de la gloriosa época del VHS, mezclado con animación de 8 Bits. Travel back in time and experience being a kid again in 1990’s Bogotá, Colombia. Based on real events, ‘8 Bit Shrapnel’ joins three kids on a fate laden Saturday, as their young, carefree universe of football, ninjas, video-games and rock n’ roll collides head on with an adult world at war, changing their perception of reality forever. A nostalgic molotov cocktail from the times, in all their VHS glory, mixed in with 8 Bit style animation. Felipe Aguilar Nació en Bogotá, Colombia en 1977. Artista audiovisual, atraído por lo que vive en el espacio entre el documental y la ficción. Ha trabajado para clientes como el Gobierno de Colombia, USAID, National Geographic y SABMiller. Sus proyectos han estado presentes en festivales como La Berlinale, CineGlobe, Scinema e Imagine Science Films. Actualmente vive y trabaja en Miami, Estados Unidos.
Born in Bogotá, Colombia in 1977. Audiovisual Artist. A love for documentary and a love for fiction have sparked projects in the two fields. Some clients include: The Government of Colombia, USAID, National Geographic, and SABMiller. His projects have been included in several festivals which include: the Berlinale, CineGlobe, Scinema, Imagine Science Films. Currently living and working in Miami, USA.

Trabajó con Raphael Nadjari fundando dos compañías, produciendo títulos altamente creativos. Amplió los procesos de grabación en estudios virtuales para su segunda película Déjà Vu. Realizó Twenty Show, una película generada por el usuario. I Saw The Future es su primera producción en realidad virtual.

Fine Arts graduate, François Vautier worked in the main art galleries. He worked with Raphael Nadjari funding two companies, producing highly creative titles. He expanded on shooting processes in virtual studios for his 2nd film ‘Déjà Vu’. For Arte he realized ‘Twenty Show’, a user generated film. ‘I Saw The Future’ is his first VR film.
