n the kingdom of Arendelle, it’s always summer. The people are used to the warm glow of sunny days, towering green trees and a bustling harbour. Until, that is, the magical power of winter is unleashed, blanketing the kingdom in ice and snow. It’s up to Anna, a caring woman with a can-do attitude, to put a stop to it all before the people of Arendelle fall peril to the cold. The studio behind Tangled and Wreck-It Ralph is bringing winter back in a big way this December. Directed by Chris Buck (Tarzan and Surf ’s Up) and Jennifer Lee (screenwriter for Wreck-It Ralph), and produced by Winnie the Pooh’s Peter Del Vecho, Frozen takes us on a journey of epic proportions, through a magical landscape populated with quirky characters and hilarity. Elsa (Idina Menzel) has the power to create ice and snow, but it grows stronger and more uncontrollable with every passing day. Having nearly killed her younger sister with her powers once, Elsa keeps to herself. However, in a moment of high emotion, her magic is released on the world, transforming the land into a mass of snow and ice. For eternally optimistic Anna (Kristen Bell), this puts both her home and her family in danger. As the people of Arendelle begin to succumb to the cold, Anna feels that it is her responsibility to bring an end

to the eternal winter. After all, she has more motive than some: Elsa is her sister. In order to get to Elsa, Anna needs to team up with someone who knows how to navigate the mountainous and snowy terrain. Enter Kristoff (Jonathan Groff), the no-nonsense ice merchant and his mangy reindeer friend, Sven. Along the way, they’ll get some help from Olaf (Josh Gad), the world’s friendliest snowman with a tendency to disassemble himself at precisely the wrong moment. Also starring Alan Tudyk as the voice of Duke Weselton, Frozen is set to be a thrilling and chilling race against time. Can Anna, Kristoff and Olaf overcome the harsh mountain terrain and gain entry to Elsa’s ice palace, getting past her monstrous bodyguard, Marshmallow? More importantly, can Anna find a way to save the kingdom of Arendelle from its wintery tomb without losing her sister?
