RECORD MONTH AT REEDS RAINS WEST DERBY

FREE TICKETS AVAILABLE FOR HOME BUYERS SHOW

Reeds Rains’ West Derby team

Reed Rains in West Derby has achieved record September sales as the housing market continues to recover. An improving housing market has led to more viewings and sales than at any other time in 2013, according to staff at the Almond’s Green branch. Leigh Morrissey, branch manager, says: “The housing market is finally showing signs of improving and September has been our busiest sales month for many years. The number of buyers being registered is on the up, the number of viewings being booked is on the up and the offers are rolling in.” Reeds Rains has now introduced a new ‘InView’ tool for sellers to increase the chances of their property standing out and extended the times many offices can be contacted to 9am to 9pm, seven days a week to cope with extra demand. The agent is also urging landlords and sellers to contact the branch, as Leigh adds: “We love letting houses as well as selling them, the only problem is we do not have enough properties to service the current level of waiting tenants. We urgently require more properties for let and sale to match our buyers’ and tenants’ expectations.” For more information contact Reeds Rains on 0151 226 5668.

Gleeson Homes is celebrating the success of its Cawdor Park development in Liverpool after filling well over half of the properties at the site. There are now just 14 homes left to sell in the development, situated in the Granby area of Liverpool, out of the 65 new homes originally built in 2011. Gleeson says the sales success is partly down to the government’s Help to Buy scheme. The initiative allows buyers to put down a 5% deposit on a home and use a government loan for a further 20% of the deposit to encourage first time buyers to move into new build homes. Gleeson also says schemes such as its shared equity scheme have helped buyers into their new home at the development. Linda Matura, sales manager for Gleeson Homes, says: “We have a range of other schemes available to help buyers and the lower mortgage repayments
