Encounter exists to help middle school students encounter Christ through Biblical teaching and Godly relationships with one another. Engage exists to help High School students engage in relationships with Christ, the community, and the world.

Youth Group Everyone grades 6 - 12 is welcome!

End Of School Party – Friday, June 27th at 6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. On Friday 27th we will meet at the church at 6:30 p.m. and travel to Altitude Trampoline Park in Billerica. $20 includes one hour of jumping time and pizza for dinner. Each student attending, must have a waiver signed by their parents. Please let Pastor Brian know if your child will be attending.

A Note to Parents Our goal in Mount Hope Children’s Ministry is to create a safe, fun, high-energy environment. Upon arriving on Sunday morning, each child must register at one of the registration tables/self-check-in stations located near the main entrances to the building. Programs and care for nursery through 5 years old are offered during the entire worship service. After registering, children in Kindergarten through 5th grade attend the main service in the sanctuary for about the first 20 minutes of the service and are then dismissed to the Kingdom Kidz service. If you have any questions about Kingdom Kidz, Contact Mike King at mking@mounthope.org.


Special Business Meeting On Sunday, June 29th following the 10:45 a.m. service, we will be having a special business meeting. The only agenda item for this meeting will be a vote by the members on whether or not to receive the Belmont property. All are invited, but we especially need as many members as possible present to take the vote.

Blood Drive On Saturday, July 26th from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., there will be a blood drive in the Family Life Center.

Vacation Bible School VBS will take place from Monday, July 14th through Thursday, July 17th. Children ages 3 through 8th grade will learn about the “God of the Universe” through this year’s theme: Space Odyssey! We will have rallies, games, crafts, and Bible stories from the Space Time Machine! Students entering the 9th grade are encouraged to volunteer. VBS will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. each night. Any questions, direct them to Michael King at mking@mounthope.org.

Honoring our Graduates of 2014 (Date change) We will be honoring our graduates on Sunday, June 29th. If you or a family member who attends MHCC is graduating from high school, college, trade school, etc...please contact Mary Basler at 781-272-1014 x.112 or mbasler@mounthope.org. Please plan to provide us with a baby picture and senior picture of the graduate.

People to People On Saturday, July 5th, the People to People Ministry will be serving a meal at the YMCA in Lowell. If you would like to donate food items, please visit the Connections Center for the signup and list of food needed. For more information, please call Joe & Eileen Habelow at 617932-1303.


COMMUNITY LIFE Topical studies exploring Bible-based principles that apply to everyday life. God designed our bodies to be healthy, providing everything we need to thrive and live abundantly. With assistance from medical and fitness experts, Pastor Rick Warren and thousands of people from his congregation at Saddleback Church started on a journey to transform their own lives. It’s called The Daniel Plan and it is centered on five Bible-based essentials: faith, food, fitness, focus, and friends. Mount Hope will launch its 40 days to a healthier life on July 23rd. Common Grounds Café is open every Sunday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Make sure to stop by for tasty food, good drinks, and great conversation. If you need to step out of the service for any reason, the service is broadcast in Common Grounds. Please feel free to watch the service there.

On Sunday mornings, should the need arise a safety team member is on duty to assist you. If you need to speak with the safety person on duty, the safety desk is located in the hallway towards the East entrance. In Case You are in Need of Help Outside of our Church Office Hours In the event of hospitalization, a death in the family, or another emergency during the week, please contact the church office at 781-2721014 to speak with a pastor. If the call occurs outside of the church office hours, please call the Pastoral Care Line at 781-272-1014 x.195. Leave a message and a pastor will return your call. “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests . . .” Ephesians 6:18 If you have a prayer request or praise report you would like to share with us, prayer cards are located in the pockets of the seat-backs in each row. The church staff and other prayer groups in the church gather weekly to pray over these cards. Please fill out the card and place it in one of the boxes located in the back of the sanctuary. In addition, you may leave a message on the Prayer Line voicemail box 781- 272-1014 x.182 Join a prayer group!
