Doughs and Breads Doughs and Βreads Different kinds of dough prepared with flour from wheat cultivated in the fields of Marathousa and Nea Roda provide the basis for various types of bread, salty snacks, cakes and other pastry products, comprising an essential source of income for the area. Fluffy loaves of bread with golden crust complement perfectly every meal or snack in the countryside or by the sea, not to mention every festive event filled with joy and fun! Pies and böreks with all kinds of stuffing add flavour to sleepy mornings and satisfy the children’s lust for yummy snacks. Bagels, croissants filled with locally produced jams and biscuits are served for brunch and they are the ideal accompaniment to a nice cup of coffee in the evening. Soft pastries stuffed with cheese and mountain herbs are baked to perfection, to give delicious home made pies. We turn the produce of our golden fields to golden creations!
