Decorations and symbols are the most intriguing feature of these buildings, as well as of the whole neighbourhood. The architectural structure is plenty of bas-reliefs, frescoes and sculptures typical of the Neo-baroque and Eclectic styles, often criticised by the Roman milieu at that time. However, innovation is not of less importance, due to the presence of elevators and well-advanced facilities for the time, such as kitchens with gas stove and the presence of heating radiators.

The initiative comes from the project Voglia di Riemergere devised by Dario Biello and produced by Associazione culturale Cinema Giovane. VDR's main objective is the discovery and spread of the architecture of the XX century often devalued by a generation that does not recognize the real value of these buildings instead represent the link between past and future. The history of the neighborhood was founded in 1916 by the genius of Gino Coppedè, near Piazza Buenos Aires, on the current via Tagliamento in Rome. A wave of decorations and volumes generated at the focal point of the square around the Mincio create a magical atmosphere between feelings that intertwine continuously with different styles belonging to the medieval tradition, to liberty, but also to the typical Roman and classic taste.
