MORVEN MILESTONES Fall Horse Trials Attract Riders From ‘Beginner’ to ‘Olympic-Level’ The Morven Park Fall Horse Trials are always a highlight of the autumn eventing calendar. This was especially true in 2014, as Morven Park returned to international competition with one-, two-, and three-star divisions. We hosted 390 horses with competitors (including 11 Olympic riders) from seven nations. Morven Park is one of the few facilities in the country that offers eight levels of competition in a single weekend, a rare treat for novice riders who get to share the day with some of the world’s best. At the same time, this multi-level competition requires a tremendous effort from the schedulers, organizers, and our 120 volunteers. Thanks to the contributions of all involved, the three-day event ran beautifully and was featured on the front cover of The Chronicle of the Horse magazine the following week.
