Cadence headlines 4th Jackie Chan theme park coming up in China phase of MTF Live Series A theme park dedicated to Jackie Chan is being built in his honor in china. The construction of the theme park has begun in Yizhuang, Beijing. It will contain five major themed areas and various cultural exhibition centers filled with items Chan collected over the years, CNN reported. Though the visitors won’t be charged for entering the park, they will have to buy tickets to enter some of the attractions.

Cadence performing at the MTF Live series
& Hum Lounge, kohima hosted the fourth phase of MTF Live series on Saturday evening at the lounge, with winners of the 5th Nagaland Music Awards (Heavy Metal category) Cadence headlining the show. A Christian progressive rock band (Melodic, Modern, Metal), Cadence formed in October 2010, is composed of Ato Nienu, Sede Yiese, Zhazo Sorhie, Thejasetuo Keretsu all hailing from Kohima. Manager of the band Theja Kire divulged, “The members of the band have all finished graduation and are employed. Inspite of their work their passion for Music still binds them together keeping their music alive. Part of the success of the band relies on their mutual respect and understanding of each other’s musicality as every member takes an active role in composing their songs”.
With their musically diverse background and tastes all adding to the creative mix, their songs emerge from their lengthy jam sessions, each unique and yet definitely worth listening. Theja also thanked Rattle & Hum Lounge proprietor Akiebu for giving an opportunity to the band to showcase their music to the people. Cadence was also awarded the Best band in the Rock (Heavy/ Metal) category in the 4th Music Award Nagaland 2012too, they also won the online (http:// www.qyuki.com) Qyuki Contest, the Kohima Inter Ward Band Competition 2011 the band was also shortlisted in the online National Top 10 Aquajam contest (http://www.songdew.com/ ). The band also represented Kohima District NSACS Rock-Aware 2011 and the 2011 and 2012 edition of the Hornbill National Rock Contest.
