The Morris/Sussex Vicinage Reduced Fee Referral Program Celebrating Two Years serving the litigants of the Morris/Sussex Vicinage!
The Morris/Sussex Vicinage Reduced Fee Referral Program recently celebrated two years of serving the litigants and Courts in the vicinage by matching unrepresented litigants who did not qualify for legal services with counsel. In those two years over 175 litigants were able to obtain counsel through the RFP. Our over 30 attorney members have helped make this success possible, and the program’s partnership with the Morris County Surrogate has expanded the program’s reach. We are proud of the fact that the Morris/Sussex Vicinage RFP has been used as the basis for similar programs in numerous other counties throughout the state. We recognize that now, more than ever, the citizens of Morris and Sussex Counties are in need of legal representation that they can afford. Thank you to all of our dedicated program participants who are assisting these families. As the dynamic of the situation changes, and our Courts, particularly our Municipal Courts, adapt to the changes, it is more important than ever to match as many litigants with counsel as possible. If you have room in your practice to take on these cases, please reach out to us. More importantly, if you work with, or support, any community or at-need groups in Morris or Sussex counties who could benefit from information about the RFP, please also let us know.
