Community walks
Annual community walks were held Saturday in Woodbridge, Seaford, Laurel, Cape Henlopen and Sussex Central school districts. The walks were sponsored by the Sussex Child Health Promotion Coalition, which was organized by the Nemours Foundation in order to promote awareness of the benefits of exercise. Weatherwise, it was not the best day for a walk, but hundreds turned out despite the cold temperatures and gusty winds. See story and photos on pages 10 and 11. At left is a view of some walkers at the Woodbridge sports complex. Photo by E.W. Faircloth
