Congratulations on your engagement and thank you for choosing Morgenhof Wine Estate as your wedding venue. It will be a pleasure to create a wedding that you will remember for the rest of your lives. Morgenhof will be there every step of the way. Tranquil surroundings, warm hospitality, freshly prepared meals and attention to detail, make Morgenhof Estate the perfect venue for your wedding. The Estate will add a touch of â€œStyle & Sophisticationâ€? to your wedding day. Spectacular views of the Simonsberg Mountains and The Estate vineyards will add a feeling of classical elegance to your wedding photographs which will serve as a lifelong memoir of a very special day. There are two beautiful chapels on the Estate either of which can accommodate your friends and family in comfort while witnessing your vows. Our wedding package is designed to help you plan a perfect ceremony and reception. We will work hand in hand with you ensuring that all arrangements are made timeously and in line with your wishes. Your guests and loved onces will be comfortably accomodated in Morgenhof ’s Chapel to witness you union. The Chapel can accomodate up to 130 guests, and our smaller Chapel, with a natural stone floor named “The Perdestal” can seat up to 60 guests.

Includes tables, chairs, crockery, a full setting of cutlery, wine and champagne glasses, DJ area, and wedding-cake table. No table linen (table cloths, napkins) will be provided by Morgenhof. We would need all table linen to be delivered at the venue on the day before the wedding no later than 12h.

Morgenhof Wine Estate Manor House was the building which replaced the old farmhouse, as the main residence was restored as an exclusive manor house. At ground level there are two luxury suites, a spacious entertainment room, a dining room and a kitchen. In the attic section there are three luxury bedrooms. The manor house lends itself as a perfect venue for the bride to get ready for the ceremony as well as for the bridesmaids. It is a mere 2 minute walk to the ceremony and reception, It also provides accommodation to the bride and groomsâ€™ family. The manor house has its own self catering kitchen, braai facilities, swimming pool and each bedroom has an en suite bathroom. In the evening we transform your room into a romantic setting for the bridal couple and in the morning you are treated to a champagne breakfast in our restaurant. Accommodation for your guests is available as per our current rates. It is advisable to book well in advance. A deposit will be required to confirm bookings and the full outstanding balance is payable upon check-in. Check in time is 14h00 or by prior arrangement, subject to availability.

For an extensive menu selection, feel free to ask us and should you wish to make any changes we would be delighted to assist you. Halaal/Vegetarian catering can be arranged by us for no extra charge. A 10% service fee will be charged on all food and beverages. Please note a tasting menu with two options of each can be arrange at an additional cost of R500 for the wedding couple.
CanapĂŠs Smoked baby tomatoes and bocconcini skewer drizzled with basil pesto. Prosciutto, mint and papaya skewer. Sirloin, rocket, sundried tomato and brie skewer. Bacon, litchi and blue cheese trio. Lamb phyllo bundles with tzatziki. Chicken coriander wantons with Thai sweet chilli sauce. Spanakopita with sweet pepper aioli. Roasted vegetables and goats cheese tartlet. Bacon and leek tartlet topped with deep-fried leeks. Tempura prawns and homemade chilli jam. Choux puff with cream cheese, smoked salmon & caviar. Chicken liver parfait & caramelized onion on crostini. Roasted pear & blue cheese jelly on crostini. Carpaccio & green fig preserve on crostini.
Starters Cous cous camembert served with baby pears in red wine. Phyllo parcel with mushroom, brie and a port reduction. Salmon mousse with capers, caviar and a Morgenhof Chenin Blanc dressing. Beef Carpaccio served with baby leaves, pecorino shavings drizzled with olive oil. Figs caramelized leeks and gorgonzola tartlet served with walnuts and baby leaves. -
