Insertion

Design Lab II 2018 Created an insertion/addition to the Alms graduate building where architecture students along with some professors have their studios, by using atmospheric, context, and precedent studies to do so.

Armature Project Design Lab I 2017

This project was a continuation of the volume cube casting the cube in plaster and then creating an armature to wrap around and display it. 12

Volume Cube

Design Lab I 2017

The volume cube consisted of a bristol cube and then the creation of a mold which eventually led to a plaster cube. 16

The line cube created out of basswood. I used a lot of L-shaped moments in my design.

Plane Cube

The plane cube was made out of museum board. In my design, I created pieces that seemed to pass thorough one another. The gouache painting was an abstracted representation of my plane cube. 22

This project was my first sttempt to create an abstract collage. This was also my first time using any adobe programs to recreate my collage drawings digitally.

Mausoleum Project

Communication Skills I 2017

Based from a mausoleum at Spring Grove Cemetery. Used techniques such as freehand draw, draft, digitalize, and render the elevation, section, floor plan, site plan, and perspective of the tomb. 26

Threshold Project

Design Lab II 2018 I studied the threshold of the Dieterle Opera House in the CCM music college. I then created diagrams and models to represent the movement and feeling I felt in the space.

Drawing from Marco Polo’s Hidden Citites. My city was Clarice which was a decrepit city that was falling apart but then eventually became beautiful. I then reinterpreted my city digitally.

Communication Skills II 2018 Used Photoshop to combine a residential and commercial building and place it into a new landscape. 40
