This Fall at Montreat College: A Calendar of Events for Fall 2013

Greetings from Montreat College! We are off to a roaring start of our 98th year. Over 150 new students arrived on campus this fall. What a blessing to welcome so many new faces! Not only do we have new students to celebrate, but we have some great new faculty and staff as well. Worship with us at a chapel or convocation service this semester, and meet our new dean of spiritual formation, Rev. David Taylor, joining us from the Presbyterian Church of Floyd in Virginia. We invite you to take part in Community Day on Tuesday, September 17. Each year, Montreat College joins with local community members to serve the towns of Montreat and Black Mountain. Kick off the afternoon of service with a free lunch on Gaither Commons at noon followed by two hours of service projects. We’d love to serve alongside you! Come see what God is doing in the lives of our students – join us this fall! In His service,

Joe B. Kirkland, M.A. Interim President
