- Initiates purchase orders for parts, services, special tools and equipment. - Source, select and negotiate best terms & conditions as well as deliveries and services with suppliers and sub-contractors. - Confers with suppliers to determine supply, transportation, and prices. - Coordinates quality requirements and changes/developments between the company and the suppliers. - Monitors inventory levels to meet company inventory goals.
- Promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization. - Develop, implement, communicate and maintain a quality plan to bring the Company’s Quality Systems and Policies into compliance with quality system AS9100 requirements. - Manage and maintain the Company’s quality inspection and product release programs for incoming and in-process materials and components, processes and finished goods - Effectively interact with Production and Development teams to maintain product supply and help introduce new products. - Work with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers. Review and approve material certification. - Set up and maintain controls and documentation procedures. - Liaise with customers’ auditors and ensuring the execution of corrective action and compliance with customers’ specifications. - Organize and manage quality assurance function in close co-operation with the customers and with the Company’s Management team (Member of Management Team). - Supervising a staff in carrying out lab tests and in process evaluations.
PMAC or SCMA designation an asset Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field 5 years experience as a Buyer or Purchasing Manager Basic understanding of machines and metals Experience working with Microsoft systems, familiarity with ERP systems
LEAN MANUFACTURING/CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT TECH. - Facilitate successful «lean manufacturing» events with locally focused improvements. - Support all follow-throughs required and assist in sustaining improvement established during events. - Coordinate and deliver team based and company training. - Assist individuals and teams in the application of the company’s «lean manufacturing» principles and techniques to improve operations. - Facilitate consistent approaches for visual controls and productivity measurements to be utilized throughout product teams and the factory. - Assist team leaders to support projects, improvements and results.
Experience in mechanical, dimensional, metallurgical and heat treatment. Bachelor’s degree in Materials/Metallurgy Engineering Understanding of process control Strong problem solving skills Very good written and verbal communication skills 5 years experience working in aerospace/metallurgical processes
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or technical field. - Formal training or working knowledge of «lean manufacturing» principals and improvement processes. - Background in manufacturing, industrial or mechanical engineering, production control or quality is strongly preferred.
- Supervise, maintain, repair and install all production equipment related to mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. - Assure adequate inventory at all times to repair or change pieces. - Aids in sourcing of parts for CNC machines, lathes, and grinders. - Supervise the maintenance of the building. - Oversee upgrades of the building/construction projects. - Develop and implement energy conservation projects. - Inspection and testing of all equipment. - Coordinate the maintenance team activities and determine priorities. - Ensure team efficiency through appropriate training and development.

Bachelor Degree Mechanical, Aeronautical, Materials Science Engineering Minimum 5 years working experience Solid understanding of Aerospace Products and Aircraft Structure Design Proven Leadership experience MS or PHD in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Materials Science an asset
QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering with emphasis on Electro-Mechanics. - Maintenance and mechanical experience required. - Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems. - Ability to record information clearly.
