FALL SPORTS ROUND UP

The Fall sport season is winding down, however a few Montini Catholic student-athletes are still participating in the playoffs. Senior Jayden Gersten has qualified for the State Cross Country Championship for a second consecutive year. Jayden will complete this weekend.

The Volleyball Team ended their run with a loss to St. Francis in the Sectional Final. The Broncos had defeated St. Francis earlier in the season. The Lady Broncos finished the season with a 29-7 record.

The Football Team will take on Sycamore High School in the second round of the playoffs this Saturday at Duffy Memorial Stadium at 2:00. The Broncos defeated first round opponent Woodstock North 42-7.

GIVING TUESDAY A GLOBAL DAY OF GIVING There's Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday, but don't forget Giving Tuesday. Giving Tuesday is a movement to create an international day of giving at the beginning of the Christmas and holiday season. On November 27th, remember to include Montini Catholic in your Giving Tuesday donations.

Last year just over $20,000 was donated to Montini Catholic on Giving Tuesday with close to 200 donors choosing to support the Broncos. For a second year, the students, faculty and staff will participate in their own Giving Tuesday campaign which is designed to create awareness among the student body about the importance of giving.

Montini Cathoic students will take to the stage this weekend with performances of "Hooray for Hollywood." The setting takes place in Hollywood, California, where 'the hand that feeds also bites.' Young movie and television hopefuls come from all over the country to study at 'Milo Bravo's Workshop of Dramatic Art — And Stuff,' lured by Milo's phony scholarships. Non-stop action, jokes, and other hilarious scenes promise a night of fun and laughter for theater enthusiasts, young and old.

CELEBRATE THE SEASON Alumni and alumni families are invited to the Montini Catholic Parent Club's Fashion Show. This annual tradition kicks off the Holiday Season with fashions and fun for everyone. The Fashion Show will be held on Sunday, December 2nd at the Sheraton Lisle from 11:30am – 3:30pm. Tickets are $65 per person. In addition to fashions modeled by Montini Catholic students and alumni, guests will be able to participate in raffles and help support the San Miguel Scholarship Fund benefitting Montini Catholic's scholarship program.
