Still-life Painting Class

Join Montgomery Art Guild award winner Elana Hagler for a multiweekend painting class. Learn how to compose, lay-out, and paint personal and meaningful still-life paintings. Bring a box of objects, patterns, books, and photos that are precious to you and that you would like to capture, and we will work on arranging them and expressing them on canvas. This workshop is meant for students who already have a basic knowledge of painting and would like to take their compositions, color relationships, and ability to create a believable sense of light and air to the next level. Â Dates: August 5, 6, 12, and 13 Time: Saturdays 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. and Sundays 1 to 5 P.M. Instructor: Elana Hagler Cost: $265 for members and $325 for non-members
