WORKFORCE RESOURCES CUSTOMIZABLE TRAINING FOR CURRENT FULL- TIME EMPLOYEES

EITP - Existing Industry Training Program State funded through Alabama Community College System (ACCS)/ $15,000 cap per training project/ $60,000 10 year maximum. IWTP - Incumbent Worker Training Program Federally funded by the Department of Commerce/ $30,000 cap per training project/ $60,000 life time maximum. Regional Workforce Leadership Training Leadership and interview skills training provided to help leaders become more effective and improve performance from themselves and their teams, which increases productivity.

ASSISTANCE WITH NEW EMPLOYEE HIRING AND TRAINING NEEDS WBL- Work Based Learning/ PWE- Paid Work Experience Paid internship for eligible individuals ages 18-24, work up to 30 hours/wk, 390 hours max, wages & Worker’s Comp paid by the Family Guidance Center of AL with WIOA dollars or the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services (ADRS). Paid internship for eligible individuals for up to 390 hours or 3 months. OJT- On the Job Training Employers receive 50-75% reimbursement of wages while training an eligible new hire. Employer makes the hiring decision, tailors the training, negotiates length of training and provides full time employment. RTW- Ready to Work Basic training provided by ACCS in entry level work place skills, soft skills, work ethic, and career preparedness. Successful graduates earn the Alabama Certified Worker Certificate and the National Career Readiness Certificate.
