Celebration of Worship

Next Week

Sunday, June 2, 2013

Do you have a heart for God? This summer your heart and faith will grow exponentially as we explore together the life of a man who was totally sold out for God – David. In our Summer Sermon Series: David: Developing a Heart for God, we’ll investigate how David became known as a “man after God’s own heart.” We’ll see both his faithfulness and his sin. We’ll see how God never breaks His promise with David despite David’s actions. Invite your family and friends as we begin our series in I Samuel 16 with our sermon, “The Lord Looks at the Heart.”

Grad Sunday Reflect on these words from the Apostle Paul as you prepare for worship, “Be devoted to prayer, keeping alert in it with thanksgiving. At the same time pray for us too, that God may open a door for the message so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may make it known as I should. Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunities. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you should answer everyone.”
