A Word From your Pastor: “They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved” (Acts 2:42-46 NIV). When I look back at the early church that made such an impact on the world with the gospel, these four things stand out to me: How they were devoted to the teaching of the apostles, fellowship with one another, eating together, and praying together. It is important that we keep all four of these things a priority and remain devoted to them as a church corporately. We need to do all of the above together as a church family. It is the corporate prayer that God has put on my heart to strengthen as a church and to make it just as important as the teachings, the fellowship, and eating together. I look forward to see the results of God’s blessings in the church because of His people crying out together to Him. Pastor Fred

Praise Time WOW the things that happen at the thrift store daily are amazing stuff! We already have a steady group of repeat customers and as well as donators. It seems daily we get in new people that had no clue we existed. As well as people that are regulars to our Mountain Grace thrift but live on this side of town. Not only have we seen new and repeat shoppers come in but we daily have ministry opportunities. For example a customer came in and she told me her Father was just admitted in the hospital and it was not looking to good and she said the only place she could think of going was the thrift store. So we had a time of prayer for her Dad and her family as well. A week later she came back (to shop) and she said that he was released and is doing great! Praise God! Also there has been a group of young boys that live in the trailer park next to us that come in every so often with their change to buy toys and or stuff they think their mom would enjoy. They wanted to buy a hot wheels race track set for $5.00 but they could only come up with $2.84 and the leader of the group asked if I could take that because they don’t have a lot of money. So I stopped him and I said “yes I could but let me tell you guys about something better you can have” and told them about Jesus and they listen and received it very well. We have seen an OVERFLOW of donations from our community and even from various church’s! God is surely blessing us with ministry opportunities and we know that we have only scratched the surface in business and ministry opportunities. We could always use your help :)
YDDC Bible Study Well this month has been hit and miss with the Bible studies due to various reasons, But when I was able to go in there wow what a time! I average now about 40+ young men and staff on Thursdays now and sometime they have to split it up in two bible studies. Through this month I will say around 35 young men gave their lives to Christ and have become "MIGHTY MEN OF GOD!" This is what we have been studying from Noah to Paul David to Jesus and so many more and eventually ending with them! Having them realizing that they can be mighty men of God as well. Oh man, it was powerful stuff! I have come to have great relationships with the young men and the staff as well at YDDC and I know God has a place for me in this amazing ministry! Continue to pray for all of us that go and minister to the youth in prison or halfway
At Grace Restoration Center, Wednesdays are wonderful! Every Wednesday, our community has the chance to come in to hear from God's word and receive blessings from His hand. Anyone can come in to hear God's word proclaimed, to be prayed for, to receive free clothes for the family, or to have great fellowship with God's co-laborers. Food Bank Bible Study starts at 11. Our Free Clothing program, which is by appointment, is a chance for the community to come in and get prayer and clothes for the family. After the Thrift Store closes, Estudio Biblico takes place from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. Great things are happening at GRC. Lives are changed, hurts are healed, and God is glorified. Come on in and see how wonderful Wednesdays truly are.
