PROCEEDINGS OF THE

2015

Kansas City until his retirement. Right Worshipful Brother Stanton T. Brown, Grand Lecturer Emeritus. He was a 50-year member of Buckner Lodge No. 501 where he served as Worship Master in 1961 and again in 2011 as well as serving many years as Secretary. Right Worshipful Brother Brown served as District Deputy Grand Lecturer from 1967 through 1972 and then served for 20 years as Grand Lecturer of the Grand Lodge of Missouri. He was also a member of many of the appendant Masonic Bodies where he provided leadership and held many titles over the years. His family shared this statement in his obituary: “Titles will soon be forgotten, but service and love of his fellowman lives on. Our prayer today comes from the words of the 18th century hymnist Isaac Watts. Most Worshipful Brother Haywood, Grand Master, please call up the Brethren for prayer.

Let us pray: O God, our help in ages past, our hope for years to come, our shelter from the stormy blast, and our eternal home! Before the hills in order stood, or earth received her frame, from everlasting, thou art God, to endless years the same. O God, our help in ages past, our hope for years to come; be thou our guide while life shall last, and our eternal home. Amen
