REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC RELATIONS To the Grand Lodge Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons of the State of Missouri: Brethren, Your Committee on Public Relations has been working hard to implement and assist in several projects, and to strengthen and promote to the general public and Missouri Masons the impact that Missouri Freemasonry has in the state of Missouri and the nation. The largest project for the Committee on Public Relations for the year was th the 100 Anniversary of the Missouri State Capitol Building Cornerstone Rededication held on Friday, July 3, 2015 in Jefferson City. The Grand Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of the State of Missouri and the Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Missouri participated in their first joint cornerstone ceremony. There was several participates, including Missouri Governor Jay Nixon, and over a thousand other attendees at this historic event. This event was also witnessed by millions of viewers across the country through the power of local and social media. The second five year commitment of the Grand Masters’ Collectors Coin program was continued by Grand Master David W. Haywood. Through the funding by this committee, the proceeds from the sale of these coins will continue to benefit the endowment fund of the Grand Lodge. Your Committee on Public Relations has always had a strong presence with all the social medias available, however, more attention was focused toward Facebook and Twitter. The Committee once again approved the expenditure to produce the Lodge Directory. This has always been a valuable resource for all Freemasons within the state. Grand Master David W. Haywood requested that your Committee on Public Relations put together and produce a video to introduce Missouri Freemasonry to the general public through the various social media’s and YouTube. The results of th this project will be shown during the Grand Lodge 194 Annual Communication. The Committee on Public Relations will continue to provide assistance and promote Freemasonry through all forms of publications and media only with the approval by the Brethren of the continuation of the Public Relations Assessment th equaling $1.00 per Dues Paying Master Mason at the Grand Lodge 194 Annual Communication. The Committee on Public Relations ask for your support of this very important and needed assessment. Fraternally Submitted,
