REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE ON APPEALS AND GRIEVANCES EDITOR’S NOTE: No written Report from the Committee was received. However, as stated in the Grand Master’s Address, a request was made by Grand Master Haywood for a recommendation concerning the restoration status of Randy Berger due to uncertainities contained within the Committee’s Report contained within the 2014 Proceedings. The Committee’s recommendation was that the restoration should be made effective. After consideration, Grand Master Haywood accepted the recommendation and requested the acceptance of the Address of the Grand Master also serve to approve the recommendation. Pursuant to Section 32.070 of the By-Laws, approval of the Address approves the issuance to Randy Berger of a a dimit without privileges from the Grand Lodge office permitting him to petition any subordinate lodge of his choice for reinstatement. If the petition is approved by the lodge, he would then be reinstated to full membership.

REPORT OF THE GRAND SECRETARY To the Grand Lodge of Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons of the State of Missouri: Most Worshipful Grand Master and Brethren: I would like to start my first report as your Grand Secretary by thanking all of the Brothers who have contacted me and offered their support. I would especially like to thank the Past Grand Masters who have contacted me and offered their assistance. I am pleased to have been contacted by almost all of the Past Grand Masters. The past few months have been, and continue to be, a learning experience for me. Since being appointed as your Grand Secretary I have worked to bring the Grand Lodge Office in compliance with the recommendations of the independent auditors, the Committee on Ways and Means, and to reduce the expenses of the Grand Lodge Office. We are currently working on taking inventory of the property and assets of the Grand Lodge. This includes both the items we have to sell and the actual equipment and other donated items the Grand Lodge owns. I have been unable to find any record of when or if an inventory was last taken. The new membership database has been installed I would like to thank the Secretaries for being patient with the changeover. The transfer of data from the old to the new database took longer than we had planned. The new database is set up to make sure all of the information in a member’s record matches. The old database did not have these capabilities. As an example, when we first transferred the membership to the new data base it rejected over 5000 members because they were listed as Master Mason in one area of the record and still listed as an Entered Apprentice in another area. The biggest advantage of the new database is for the first time in years the Grand Lodge has an accurate count of total number of members. Our current membership count as of the date of preparing this Report is 37,784 Master Masons, plus 1,363 plural members for a total membership of 39,147. I am working to reduce costs in the office. I recently cancelled our cell phone contract. We were paying $285 per month. The new contract will be under $100. The old contract covered 5 phones. The new contract only has
