This amazing yearbook was brought to you by Becca Corbett, Sarah Hodgins, Chloè Keating, Kayla Geary, Becca Ryan, Liz Walsh, Amanda McDonagh and Lisa Hannon. Dear Class of 2013,

On behalf of the yearbook committee we are delighted to finally present our memories and our achievements together throughout our years in Presentation Secondary school. A lot of effort and creativity went into producing this fantastic yearbook which will provide students with many memories throughout their lives. We were pulling our hair out towards the end of the yearbook as it was very time consuming, but thankfully we got there in the end!! Hope ye enjoy & cherish this yearbook for the

rest of your lives. To the Leaving Cert class of 2013

You are finally approaching the end of your time at this school and you have been such a nice group of girls to work with over the years. I have seen you develop and mature into fine young women, ready to face the challenges of the world outside. Your different talents, academic and otherwise, have developed and improved and you are now ready to begin your 3rd level education. Your values and skills have brought you to a point where you are independent. You have worked hard to achieve your goals and dreams and you all deserve to succeed. I sincerely hope that the exams go well for you and that you will be successful in gaining entry to the college and the course of your choice. Remember that determination is the most important quality of all. If you have this, you can achieve almost anything. Enjouy your Graduation. Best wishes to you all. Bernadette Daly

/ s ’ l a s p ’ i l c a n p i c Pri n i r p y t u p e D s e g a s s e m Girl, how quickly time passes! It seems like such a short time ago since you arrived for you first day in school, rather timed and shy and with lovely little shiny faces - not to mention perfect uniforms! - ready to begin you journey through secondary school. All too quickly, that journey is soon to end. The shyness and timidity has given way to a confident exuberance for life and the shiny faces…long since hidden under layers of make-up! The next stage of your journey is soon to begin. I sincerely hope that the time you have spent with us has given you the skills and wisdom to deal with the demands and challenges of adult life. I also hope that the friendships and bonds created while in secondary school will continue long into the future. I do hope that you will look back fondly at your years in Presentation. I wish you all continued growth, success and above all, happiness where-ever life leads you.

With every best wish, Anne Kirke

g n o s d a gr High Hopes Broken bottles in the hotel lobby Seems to me like I'm just scared of never feeling it again I know it's crazy to believe in silly things But it's not that easy I remember it now, it takes me back to when it all first started But I've only got myself to blame for it, and I accept it now It's time to let it go, go out and start again But it's not that easy But I've got high hopes, it takes me back to when we started High hopes, when you let it go, go out and start again High hopes, oh, when it all comes to an end But the world keeps spinning around And in my dreams, I meet the ghosts of all the people who have come and gone Memories, they seem to show up so quick but they leave you far too soon Now evil is just staring at the barrel of a gun And I do believe Believe I've got high hopes It takes me back to when we started High hopes, when you let it go, go out and start again High hopes, oh, when it all comes to an end But the world keeps spinning And the world keeps spinning around High hopes, it takes me back to when we started High hopes, when you let it go, go out and start again High hopes, oh, And the world keeps spinning Ooh, yeah this world keeps spinning How this world keeps spinning around

frenc Bonjour! â˜ş

Last January a group of 5th year and TY students took place in a French-Irish school exchange. The group spent 8 days in Caen, Northern France. They attended classes in Institution Sainte-Marie. The city of Caen was beautiful and the girls each enjoyed spending time with their host families. Each student bonded individually with their exchange partner. The girls spent one of the days within the week in Paris, and each enjoyed this immensely. School is completely the opposite of school here in Ireland and I believe we all benefited from this experience. It was one of our best school memories...

Guten Tag Last February three students from 6th year went on an exchange to Cologne. They went for two weeks and attended Johann-GottfriedHerder Gymnasium. Cologne had many beautiful sites to offer the girls. They visited the Dom, the chocolate museum and many more unique places within the City. The girls met many new friends and got on well in the school. School life is very different over in Germany. For example the pupils were allowed wear their own clothes and got to use their mobile phones in school. It was a very beneficial experience and a once in a life time opportunity. The girls would definitely go back to Germany again to experience the culture.

e y b d goo Well girls, that’s the end of our Yearbook and an end to our amazing 5/6 years in Secondary school. There’s been ups and downs, frowns, laughter and tears, but to be honest it was the foundation of some beautiful friendships within our years in school. We genuinely hope ye enjoyed the yearbook and hope ye treasure it forever as a happy and content memory through your life. We wish ye all the best of luck in your future paths and we’re sure one day we’ll cross paths again, good luck ☺ Lots of love, Becca Corbett, Sarah Hodgins, Becca Ryan, Kayla Geary, Chloé Keating, Liz Walsh, Amanda McDonagh and Lisa Hannon.
