The Traffic of Karachi Karachi, being the largest city of Pakistan, having much industrial importance, lacks in infrastructure and means of transport available for the natives. A lot of new vehicles are registered daily and thus increases the volume of traffic which causes narrow roads to be blocked severely. Also it must be noted that the quality of many roads are such in a bad condition that it is very daring to pass through it. The query which should be highlighted is that why is there such an increase in the registration of cars? The answer of this query is that government has no interest in developing or improving the public transportation system. Many of the people are still traveling in rickshaws, taxis and buses which are in an exotic condition. It is their need as they cannot even afford the Chinese cheap cars. The drivers of the public transport are very rarely registered and are usually unlicensed, and even their vehicles some times. And thus have lack of knowledge regarding traffic rules. Some of the drivers drive in such a way that they are in mood of smashing anything which comes in their way. Also they take passengers in a large quantity that even buses cannot over stand such a burden and causes serious accidents sometimes penalizes to death. The government should take serious actions towards these problems or in future it will give a disastrous result.
