• CASPer™ Test • Applicants directly from Ontario Secondary School: - Meet the McMaster English proficiency requirements - English 4U - One of: Advanced Functions 4U, Calculus 4U and Vectors 4U or Mathematics of Data Management 4U - Biology 4U - Chemistry 4U - Two additional Grade 12 4U or M courses to total 6 - A minimum of 75% is required in each of Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and English - Applicants must have attended NO postsecondary education prior to application - Meet McMaster English proficiency requirements • OR Completion of a full Pre-Health Sciences program that consists of: - 2 Biology - 2 Chemistry - 2 Mathematics - 2 English equivalent to high school grade 12 U level, 2 other courses - Within one year of the anticipated start date to the Nursing BScN program. - A minimum 75% average is required. Please note: 75% is required in each of Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. - No exemption credit will be granted in the program for Pre-Health Sciences courses. - If graduates from a Pre-Health Sciences program have completed any university course work, the admission decision will be based solely on their university course work. - See program webpage for acceptable Pre-Health Programs and other important admission details. • OR Applicants not applying directly from secondary school or community college PreHealth Sciences program require: - Cumulative average of at least B- (70%) in all University degree credit courses taken - Minimum of 12 units with final grades or equivalent is required - University degree credit courses completed prior to admission will be assessed for advanced credit following admission to the program. - Admission will be based solely on University course work.
